The small etching to the left of "Hard Ready®" that resembles an arrowhead or spearhead is a "hoboglyph." Hobos use codes or symbols to communicate with other hobos coming into an area. These symbols helped them to identify suitable areas, bad areas, and so much more.
While "hobo" tends to have a negative connotation, a hobo is a migratory worker who enjoys travel, loves the journey, and has no real destination or end in mind.
This description of a hobo could be ascribed to many martial artists, students, educators, fitness enthusiasts, or anyone looking for personal growth.
This symbol means "be prepared to defend yourself," and we felt it was perfect for Hard Ready® Brand.
Our story
Hard Ready®, in name, began as a training program. This program was designed to help foster physical and emotional toughness in participants. Eventually, it would develop as a more significant training event and ultimately come to represent a new company with a mission for creating tools for the everyday person to keep them every day covered™.

The term "hard ready" may not technically be grammatically correct. Still, we use it as a compound word, a single adjective, to describe someone at the apex of readiness and, perhaps more importantly, willingness.

We are currently offer 2 distinct lines of products. The first is our EQV (Esse Quam Videri) series which focuses on self-defense tools that are designed to be trained with and used to defend yourself. This series currently includes:
